Having worked in various fields such as teaching, health care and outdoor pursuits, I have come to realise the important factors behind looking after one’s body and enhancing well being.
My work as a Reflexologist has brought together this understanding, encompassing skills previously learned, and using them as a foundation to build on in my present line of work, and thus be able to treat people holistically, helping people for whatever reason, whether it be for a sports injury; allergy; depression; digestive problems; hormonal imbalances, or purely for maintenance and well-being factors.
I have always found the concept of Reflexology deeply fascinating, and I knew that if it interested me in such a way, then it would be the right way forward. I studied at The Bayly School of Reflexology, which was initially brought to Great Britain by Doreen Bayly in 1966.
I have also attended additional courses, including:
- Spinal Reflexology
- Maternity Reflexology
- Baby Reflexology
- Fertility in Reflexology
- Complementary Therapy and ADHD
- Reflexology for children with Special Needs
which are all areas of particular interest to me..
I have my own treatment room, within my home, (although I offer a mobile service too) treating adults, children and babies.
I have also treated corporate clients, at their work place – helping to alleviate stress-related problems. As well as this I have attended Complementary Health Fayres and workshops, as well as giving talks on the subject of Reflexology.
